Overview

Accolades (also referred to as Advancements or Achievements) are milestones that are rewarded to the player for completing overarching goals in LifeSim or Story Mode.

Each accolade offers a permanent gameplay bonus or unlockable cosmetic as a reward for improving skills, explorantion, crafting, social interactions, and economic progression.

Accolades are stored per game save and can be unlocked once in each save. however only the first time unlocking an accolade will give a Steam (or other platform) achievement.

Accolade Types

Accolades are divided into categories based on the type of action required to earn them. Each category aligns with a core gameplay pillar.

• Exploration
  Rewarded by discovering locations, secrets, landmarks.
• Skill
  Rewarded by improving life skills or mastering activity loops (crafting, bartering, etc.)
• Economy
  Rewarded by completing financial milestones (clearing debt, hitting certain wealth thresholds).
• Social
  Rewarded by relationship progression, befriending NPCs, or completing community tasks.
• Story
  Rewarded by completing major story beats or important character arcs.

Bonuses

Each Accolade grants a permanent passive bonus when unlocked. Each bonus aligns to their Accolades' respective gameplay pillar

  • Category: Skill
  • Unlock Condition: Reach skill level 5 in Bartering
  • Bonus: Completing a trade gives Marks equal to 20% of the trade's value
• Knack For Value
  • Category: Skill
  • Unlock Condition: Reach skill level 5 in Foraging
  • Bonus: Increases the foraging radius by 5 meters
• You Can't Have Heaven Without Hell
  • Category: Exploration
  • Unlock Condition: Find the Hallowfang tunnels underneath Malsburrow
  • Bonus: Exploration Accolades will only give clothing / furniture vanity items.
• Free At Last
  • Category: Economy
  • Unlock Condition: Pay off the starting 200,000₥ debt
  • Bonus: Unlocks Large Purchases, reduces all future debt amounts by 15%
• Professional Day Trader
  • Category: Economy
  • Unlock Condition: Make a total of 200 Transactions at local conversion markets
  • Bonus: Increases sell value by 25% at all markets
