Noah_Character_Overview
I am the author of my own fucking story Adrian. You don't EVER get to decide when I return to the stones.
Age: 21
Species: Mënskan
Reference Sheet: Noah_Reference_Sheets
Background
Noah grew up in Central Heights, where childhood ended early. With a father who disappeared and a mother battling cancer for most of his adolescence, Noah was forced into adulthood far too soon. His teenage years were spent juggling part-time jobs, taking care of his mother, and putting aside any dreams he had for himself.
When his mother passed away, she left behind not only emotional scars but a mountain of unpaid debt. With no real prospects and the looming threat of homelessness, Noah planned to move across the country to live with his estranged aunt, Stacy Clue, in the northern city of Alimos. But his journey didn’t go as planned. His car broke down deep in Taijekan territory, and that’s how he ended up in Malsburrow.
Personality
Noah is introspective and quietly observant. He’s empathetic and kind, but often guarded, shaped by years of hardship. While he carries a strong sense of duty and responsibility, he’s weighed down by grief, uncertainty, and the lack of a backbone to stand up against what he doesn't want. Despite it all, he tries to remain hopeful, even if he doesn’t always believe things will get better.

Motivations
Noah is driven by a need to find peace not just in his surroundings, but within himself. He’s searching for purpose, for healing, and for a place to call home. At the heart of it, he wants to feel like he belongs somewhere, and to someone. But trust doesn’t come easily anymore, and opening up feels like a risk he’s still learning to take.
Conflict
Though Malsburrow offers the first real sense of community Noah has ever experienced, it also highlights his outsider status. As a Mënskan in a predominantly Taijekan town, he walks a cultural tightrope. His growing connection to Juno only complicates things further, especially as her world begins to collapse under the weight of Adrian’s manipulations.
Noah starts out just wanting comfort, a fresh start. But what he finds instead is a fight worth being part of. And as the situation grows more dangerous, his purpose shifts: he’s no longer just trying to escape his past. He’s fighting to protect someone who reminds him he’s capable of more.
